Dress Etiquette  
Well groomed students set great examples

The Anne Samson School of Ballet is committed to the traditions of dance etiquette. Students are required to wear correct uniform and footwear. Hair for junior levels a ponytail is acceptable, any stray bits clipped back.

Grade 3 upwards a ballet bun is required properly secured with clips and bun net . No jewellery or watches to be worn in class. Cell phones turned off.

Water bottles may be brought into the studio.

Pre-Primary and Primary

Pink Leather Ballet Shoes ½ “ pink elastic across instep – NO SPLIT SOLES

Pink Sleeveless Leotard

Pink Chiffon Skirt

Pink Ballet Socks or Tights

Pink Cardigan during winter months


Grade 1 – 5

Pink Leather Ballet Shoes and tights as above

Dark Lavender Leotard

Black Character Shoes (supplied)

Black Character Skirt (supplied)


Vocational

Black or Electric Blue Leotard
